Assignment #4
A structure in the horseshoe that caught my eye was the South Caroliniana Library. The library's enormous columns immediately demand attention when looking at the building. These columns are considered Doric style which dates back to Greek architecture. What is meant by this is that the there is no special design on the columns or the base on top supporting the structure. There are windows located on the front of the Library, each are topped with Archs. The Arched windows are partially hidden behind the Doric style columns but, both add to the buildings style. The building is that of the Greek Revival which gives the viewer a feeling of antiquity.

Assignment #3
1. While watching an intense soccer game between a team of blue and a team of red, I noticed a beautiful play occurring before me. There were four players moving at a full sprint but in unity. Their ball movement was like clockwork, each tick of the second hand consisted of a completed pass in repeated fashion. This passing of the ball from player to player contributed to a well perfected minute of complicated, but beautiful play. The ball seemed to glide in a sea of green as it traveled over 100 yards from one end of the field to the other.
2. While listening to Paravotti, I mostly thought of a dramatic event involving love. He seemed as though he was really serious and heartfelt with what he was singing about. Even though I also felt confused because of the language barrier, I still thought I could understand to an extent the feelings Paravotti was trying to convey.
3.The establishing shot of a movie is a scene that shows the audience when and where the movie is taking place. It usually consists of a large view of the setting of the movie. This shot is highly important because without in, the audience would start the movie out already confused about where it is taking place.
